Job Summary

As a Digital GTM Developer on the Performance Marketing team, you will be working on a cross-functional team to bring customer-centric, cross-channel personalization to life. In this role, you will be empowered to take campaign concepts from idea to execution by developing the necessary solutions across Giant Eagle’s Marketing Technology stack. As an expert in Digital MarTech solutions, this technical and strategic specialist will work seamlessly across product managers, technology teams, analysts, marketing operations specialists, and business partners to understand capability requirements and bring campaign solutions to life for Giant Eagle’s 4M+ customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working within multiple marketing platforms (e. g. GA 360, GTM, Customer Data Platform, etc.) while providing the vision and design for integrated customer engagement campaigns.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years. Strong background/certification marketing technology software or platforms (e. g., Google Analytics 360, Google Cloud Platform, Javascript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience Desired: UAT/QA; retail industry
• Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Use expertise in marketing technology software and platforms to improve the user experience, reporting and distribution.
• Partner with Performance Marketing, CRM, and MarTech teams to implement new third party marketing pixels (Custom HTML tags)
• Manage/Maintain tags and triggers for Google Analytics event and page tracking for all banner sites
• Manage/Maintain Custom HTML tags, including Existing third-party pixels and SDK’s for marketing tools leveraged by the digital marketing team
• Monitor GTM variable capture to ensure that it remains accurate with site content/feature updates
• Audit GTM containers on a quarterly basis, tags, triggers, variable removal, GTM folder organization, Variable capture, and Container debugging with test use cases
• Own Google Analytics implementation, maintenance, and reporting requirements across the organization
• Support and implement GA4 migration from Universal Analytics.
• Partner with MarTech team to implement and test new event tracking for analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
• Translate end-customer campaign brief into technical solutions and dataflows within Giant Eagle’s MarTech infrastructure
• Work concurrently on multiple campaigns and projects driving accuracy through all phases of the development lifecycle
• Work collaboratively with IT teams, eCommerce teams, analytics teams, and business leaders to ensure actionable is provided key stakeholders
