Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Looking For Sr. Manager- Data Privacy at Mumbai Metropolitan Region Full Time

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring Glenmarks data collection, storage, processing and sharing practices are compliant with applicable data privacy laws on a global basis.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of data protection related policies and privacy notices as well as providing support with drafting

suitable privacy clauses and precedents as well as agreements in respect to data transfers.

• Ensuring suitable data privacy training and awareness for employees based on geography and role.

• Monitoring and auditing Glenmarks data privacy performance and risks and provide guidance on data privacy

best practices and issues.

• Promoting data governance and good data handling practices across the organisation through awareness

campaigns or otherwise.

• Creation and maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs) for all Glenmark entities.

• Support with the creation and implementation of a global document retention policy.

• Act as registered DPO in all countries requiring formal registration with government authorities.

• Handling DSAR and data breach notifications in accordance with national requirements.

• Optimising data management processes through process automation and privacy by design.

• Effective coordination of the global data privacy awareness committee (DPAC).

• Data privacy query handling.

Educational Qualifications: LLB/LLM

Experience: 6 to 9 years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

• Privacy knowledge and qualifications (ideally CIPP E, CIPP M and FIM qualified, One Trust certified).

• Project implementation and management experience.

• In-depth knowledge and experience of One Trust software solution.

• Good have knowledge of Data governance, data quality, data security, data architecture and data analytics knowledge.
