Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Lead to join our team in Bangalore, India. As a Corporate Communications Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of executive communications, public relations, internal communications, community engagement in alignment with GF’s global communications needs. You will be responsible for driving strategic communication initiatives to support our business goals and build our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic communication plans for executive communications, public relations, government relations, internal communications, and community engagement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, internal teams, external partners, and media contacts.
Develop messaging and content for executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and internal messages.
Support site efforts in extending government relations through engaging with key government leaders
Manage and lead a small team to facilitate internal and external events, while also spearheading the creation and distribution of content across various platforms in Bangalore.
Partner teams in the creation of brand-approved event branding and collaterals for all internal and external events
Work closely with global communication teams to ensure alignment of communication strategies and messaging.
Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment to inform communication strategies and tactics.
Analyze and interpret data related to employee communication and engagement to inform decision-making.
Ensure consistency of messaging and brand identity across all communication channels and touchpoints.
Manage communication budgets and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives.
Serve as a corporate spokesperson for the media.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
8-10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in executive communications, internal communications, and public relations.
A strong collaborator with solid writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise messaging for different audiences.
Experience managing communication initiatives across multiple channels and touchpoints.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with a hands-on mentality.
Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and regions.
Keen attention to detail, ability to work through ambiguity, and multi-functional coordination.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High technology/semiconductor-related experience.
