Plans, monitors and manages internal technical programs from initiation through completion.
Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:
• Leads or coordinates cross-functional project/program teams from design to delivery of fully-developed products/program
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
• Investigates facts and develops solutions to problems during the design and planning phases
• Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders
• May be responsible for feasibility studies, field trials management, identifying product/program gaps, defining product requirements and engaging with customers to understand market needs and trends
• Performs all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Works and collaborates other projects and/or assignments as needed

Introduction:
The primary function of the Program Manager role is to organize, coordinate, communicate and deliver on critical product, strategic, and business critical programs by working cross functionally across teams to cascade higher level goals into first, then next steps. Success in this role hinges on effective, empathic communication.
Your Job:
Build trusting relationships with team members and all relevant stakeholders
Guide teams through refining requirements and setting program, and sprint level scope
Proactively manage project milestones and timelines
Capture and track inter team dependencies & handoffs
Conduct efficient and effective meetings keeping things concise and on point
Define program metrics & KPIs, set up mechanisms to track/report
Communicate progress effectively to all relevant stakeholders including execs, product managers, and engineering leads
Be a proactive problem solver helping teams to sidestep blockers, foresee issues before they arise, and limit predictable issues.
Align with other parallel programs help to prioritize and overcome resource contention
Organize and/or create appropriate program documentation and communications
Conduct periodic retrospectives; continuously assess & improve process & tools
Required Qualifications :
5 to 8 years of experience in the related occupation.
Requires a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, semiconductor or related field of study.
Requires basic understanding of VLSI designs, flows, methodologies.
Min 2years of experience in technical program managing.
Superior communications skills: interpersonal, written, and presentation
Superior organizational skills: notes, formal documentation, task assignment
Proven ability to understand and breakdown complex, multifaceted programs, and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross functionally and drive execution
Comfortable with ambiguity and starting from “scratch”
Developing, tracking, and driving closure to project schedule
Resolving technical issues that arise during project execution
Identifying areas for quality and efficiency improvement and driving those to successful implementation
Collaborate and interface with other technical and program management teams to manage project schedule.
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with project management software and tools.
Ability to work with many different personalities and roles
Ability to run efficient and effective meetings.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Detail oriented, self-motivated and highly organized with strong problem solving and communication skills.
Proven track record for project planning, executing, controlling and closing on projects.
Experience dealing with layout, design, technology and PDK issues
