Business Summary & Context:
Computershare Services India. Our recruitment in India is an exciting time in our development. We are creating a new operations hub in Bangalore/Hyderabad to support our Corporate Trust business, and we are looking for committed people to join our team at the very start of our Corporate Trust journey in India.
A key part of this role will be collaborating with our onshore teams to service our Corporate Trust business lines and help us to deliver the professional services our clients trust and depend on.
Job Purpose:
The Financial Administrator Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality service that meets service level expectations. The Financial Administrator Specialist works closely with their Team Lead to ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met. This role is also expected to assist the Team Lead in the supervision of assigned staff and occasionally perform administration tasks related to those staff such as: daily timekeeping, performance, and attendance tracking, and provide mentoring to employees.
Key Accountabilities:
Receives instruction on work from Teal Lead and performs day to day operational activities in a timely manner with minimal errors and completes tasks within process specific TATs and SLAs.
Coach and develop the skills and abilities of assigned associates.
May assist team leads in managing and calibrating workload of assigned associates.
May prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual metric reporting.
Attends meetings and training sessions for operational topics.
Handle projects as assigned by manager.
Measures:
Functional area KPIs achieved in line with business strategy, risk appetite and risk metrics
Compliance with all applicable regulations within regional governing operational activities
Staff engagement survey results show improving trend and in line with company benchmarks
Education / Qualifications / Accreditation / Licensing:Essential:
BCom / MBA or equivalent; 4-6 years related increasing experience in multinational business environments in India.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Preferred:
Past working experience on a Captive / GIC / GCC.
Experience in the US Corporate Trust or US Financial Services industry.
Other Requirements:Functional knowledge: The Financial Administrator Specialist role requires a good understanding of work routines and procedures used to support the CCT staff or previous experience supporting similar operational procedures. These routines and procedures will vary for each Financial Administrator Specialist. The role will operate within
defined technical and operational procedures, which require proficient knowledge and awareness on how to apply them. Knowledge for the role will be acquired through on the job training and experience.
Business Experience: The Financial Administrator Specialist role has a good understanding of how the wider team works together to successful achieve their team and wider department goals and objectives.
Leadership Skills: The role will provide support and guidance to peers across the broader CCT operational team. This may involve undertaking a mentoring role, coordinating tasks and/or checking on completion and quality of work.
Problem Solving: The role requires attention to detail and excellent judgement based on best practice and previous experience. The role holder is expected to respond to and resolve moderately complex problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of innovative thinking and acquired technical experience, which will be guided by clear policy and procedure and team lead support.
Impact: The role will have overall accountability for the delivery of their work as aligned with the larger team goals and our agreed service levels with our clients. The quality of service provided will reflect on the effectiveness of the role holder and their teams.
Interpersonal Skills: The role will require excellent communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications to staff, peers, and managers. Topics of engagement will range from basic to moderate complexity.
