GM Group of Companies is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Liaisoning Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination between our company and various government agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships, facilitating necessary approvals and clearances, and representing our company’s interests effectively.
GM Group is a renowned player in the Food & Beverages industry, with a specific focus on sugar and energy production. GM Sugar and Energy Limited, a part of GM Group, operates two sugar mills with a capacity of 10,000 tons per day and 5,000 tons per day respectively. In addition, the company boasts one of the largest distilleries in India, capable of producing 5,10,000 litres of ethanol daily. Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth liaisoning operations
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and seminars to advocate for our interests and address any concerns
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and information required for permits, licenses, and clearances
- Facilitate the acquisition of necessary approvals and permissions from relevant authorities
- Communicate and engage with local communities to foster positive relationships and address any issues or concerns that may arise
- Stay updated on the latest regulatory and policy developments that may impact the company’s operations
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in liaisoning or a similar role, preferably within the Food & Beverages / Sugar industry
- Strong knowledge and understanding of government policies, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
