In order to implement all these initiatives in better way, this role is essentially required to collect the data of best practices being followed at other airports in across the world and analyze, interpret and present the data with pros and cons of the solution so that a clear decision can be taken without wasting much amount of time.

Data Analysis and Reporting – Identify trends and patterns in security screening data (e.g., wait times, prohibited item detection rates etc.)
Additional Considerations – Passenger Experience , Operational Efficiency Decrease in average passenger wait time at security checkpoints
Predictive Analytics and Threat Detection – Develop and implement data-driven models to identify suspicious travel patterns or potential security threats
Number of security incidents prevented based on insights from predictive models DigiYatra Analysis for Enhanced Security and Passenger Experience – Collaborate with stakeholders (security operations, IT, DigiYatra Foundation) to develop strategies for optimizing passenger flow and security checks using DigiYatra data. This may involve analyzing passenger dwell times at security checkpoints based on DigiYatra usage. Reduction in passenger processing time at security checkpoints through DigiYatra integration. Baggage Analysis for Improved Security Screening – Analyze data from baggage screening equipment (X-ray scanners, explosive detection systems) to identify trends and patterns in suspicious items flagged for further inspection.
Improvement in the detection rate of prohibited or suspicious items in baggage based on data analysis
Analysing Baggage per Passenger Trend – Trends in the number of bags carried out by passengers
This will be calculated over a chosen timeframe.
Self-Service Baggage Drop Analysis (SSBD) – Identify trends and patterns that affect SSBD efficiency and passenger experience.
The efficiency of the SSBD process by tracking the average time it takes for a passenger to complete bag drop using the kiosk. ANPR Data Analysis and Security Assessment – Analyzing data collected from ANPR systems installed at airport entry/exit points. This data includes license plate numbers, timestamps

Incident Analysis – Analyse landside incident data to identify trends, root causes, and recurring issues.
Complaint Analysis – Analyze security complaint data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas where passenger experience can be improved
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting – Ensure data collection and analysis practices comply with relevant security regulations and data privacy laws.
Zero non-compliance incidents related to data handling practices within a specific timeframe
Perimeter Area Security Analysis – Analyze data from perimeter security systems (e.g., intrusion detection sensors, video surveillance) to identify potential breaches or vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with security personnel and engineering teams to recommend improvements to perimeter security measures based on data insights.
Reduction in the number of perimeter security breach attempts or intrusions detected through data analysis
CCTV Camera Analysis and Optimization – Utilize CCTV footage to analyze and identify incidents, understand their causes, and recommend improvements for airport security and safety.
AEP and Cargo VMS Pass Analysis – Collaborate with the Cargo Pass team to identify and access relevant data sources.
Measurable reduction in processing times, costs, or errors within Cargo Pass
Xovis System Data Analysis – Analyze Xovis data on passenger flow patterns and wait times to identify areas for security screening process optimization.
Reduction in passenger wait times at security checkpoints based on insights from Xovis data (e.g., identifying bottlenecks and adjusting resource allocation)
Data Acquisition and Management – Gather accurate and complete data from security screening equipment, passenger flow monitoring systems, and incident reports
Percentage of data points with missing or inaccurate information
