Job Profile:-

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Drafting & documentation Estate leasing work
• Execution of the project documents, Research work related to project
• Land divestment / development matters
• Appearing before Govt. Authorities, courts, quasi- judicial authorities
• Drafting of Pleadings to be filed in various Courts;
• Briefing & Assisting Advocates & Solicitors and Counsel;
• Attending hearings at Causi Judicial Officers, Trial Court as well as High Court, and appearing and arguing the matters before them;
• Property tax matters
• Rent Act
• Reporting the Business Team post hearing of the matter; and
• Preparing Dashboard summary of the Pending Litigations, Status update and the way forward.

Role Description:

• Advising the Branches and division Pan India for all property matters

Handling complete execution of the lease / leave and license agreement for each premises and Branches Pan India.

• Deciphering the information/ liability of the company from the order passed by the Trail Courts and preparing the Dashboard summary on the same.
• Briefing Advocates & Solicitors as well as Counsel and assisting them during the hearing of the matters with the supporting judgments/ case laws.
• Filing of appeal against orders of Hon’ble District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum.
• Drafting of commercial documents like Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Commercial Agreements, Leave and License Agreements etc.
• Advise the Company on various issues including statutes, government regulations and contractual obligations.
• Periodically preparing and updating the Dashboard summary of the Pending Litigations, Status update and the way forward
• Conduct legal workshops and make presentations to provide guidance and training on ensuring legal compliance to various business functions.

Requisite Qualification:-

Essential- Graduate in any discipline with LLB.

Requisite Experience:-

Essential- Practicing Advocate for 10 years of Litigation practice.

Preferred- Land Related Litigation.

Special Skills Required:-

Essential-

• Computer Savvy;
• Knowledge on Commercial Laws;
• Hands on experience in litigation practice;
• Researching abilities regarding legal issues; and
• Well conversed with reading Marathi documents.
