Godrej & Boyce, part of the Godrej Enterprises Group, is seeking a Head of Corporate Affairs, supporting the company’s fourteen business divisions in diverse sectors with a presence across India.
About the Role:
One of the core focus areas for the incumbent will be the company’s real estate business. This a senior management role.
This position will be based in Mumbai. The candidate must currently reside in Mumbai.
The Head Corporate Affairs will facilitate Godrej & Boyce’s interactions with governmental bodies, regulatory agencies and key stakeholders in India. This role is crucial in shaping and advancing the company’s public policy agenda, facilitating engagement and discussions on key regulatory and policy areas, and fostering strong relationships with policymakers and influencers. S/he will serve as a senior advisor to the senior management of the company, influencing decision -making processes related to government activities.
A successful candidate is, in due course, expected to create and lead a dynamic team of government relations professionals to develop and implement comprehensive advocacy strategies to shape national, state and local legislative and regulatory activities that support the company. S/he must anticipate legislation, public policy trends and emerging issues with potential impact on Godrej & Boyce including those related to real estate development, environment with a particular focus on all Projects-based businesses like EPC.
The incumbent will represent Godrej & Boyce’s point of view and steer active engagement with key stakeholders including: policymakers, national and State elected representatives, mid to senior bureaucrats, State and Central Ministers and relevant trade associations. S/he will contribute to meaningful thought leadership both externally and internally and protect and enhance the company’s reputation through their work.
