Role Description

Overview:

The Deputy General Manager – Liaison & RERA will lead all liaison and regulatory activities related to real estate projects, ensuring timely statutory approvals, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves end-to-end RERA compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Approvals & Compliance:

• Obtain statutory approvals (IOD, CC, OC, BCC, etc.) and NOCs from relevant authorities.
• Liaise with bodies such as PMRDA, MTDC, MOEF, HRC, and attend RERA hearings.
• Ensure timely submission of RERA reports and address compliance issues.

Coordination & Documentation:

• Align approvals with project timelines in coordination with the Projects Team and Liaison Architect.
• Prepare and maintain RERA Dockets and project documentation.
• Coordinate with internal audit teams for approval alignment.

Financial Oversight:

• Monitor liaison-related budgets, including FSI premiums, TDR, and consultant fees.
• Maintain detailed records of related expenditures.

Risk & Stakeholder Management:

• Identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams and government bodies (PWD, Fire, RTO, PCB, etc.).

Skills Required:

• Essential: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Excel and presentation tools.
• Desirable: Deep understanding of Development Control Rules and regulatory frameworks; experience in handling complex project infrastructures.
