Cognos Engineer Candidates Specification : Educational Qualification : 10+2+3/4 Years of Regular Education Job Description : Must have 4+ years of experience in Cognos business platform Should be an expertise in developing advanced Cognos reports Hands on experience developing framework models and setting up Self-Service reporting is needed Understanding of Cognos Business Intelligence platform administration is an added advantage Knowledge of best practices for Cognos reports development Lifecyle and deploy reports in Cognos is needed Deep understanding of Cognos platform architecture is preferred Expertise in entitlements, row level security and user permission assignments in Cognos reports is a must Strong SQL development skills with traditional RDBMS (MSSQL preferred) and knowledge of ETL (such as MuleSoft, SSIS, Informatica, etc.) is expected Exposure on Financial service industry and understanding of data warehousing concepts is preferred
