Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, etc.)

• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience optimizing processes to streamline execution and improve team operations

• Experience with complex and dynamic projects in engineering, quality assurance, and operational environments

• Ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams

• Outstanding project management skills

The Search Language Specialists (SLS) team is the trusted partner to Search and other Engineering teams, providing end-to-end solutions to internationalize and scale products/features, and processes everywhere (all locales and all surfaces). This is done by obtaining and integrating deep domain knowledge into the internationalization development process, while working closely with tools and feature Engineering teams to scale and automate processes.

The team has a tremendous impact and is pivotal to the internationalization effort of Search and Assistant through facilitating and enabling many user-facing launches.

• Work closely and build solid relationships with the core Engineering team, Product and Program Management, other Search Infrastructure, Horizontal and Product Vertical teams

• Manage, feature internationalization launches

• Develop and prepare project documentation, build/modify processes

• Work closely with the Vendor teams (delivering the majority of the projects), set goals/objectives, and track deliverables

• Initiate tools and processes to increase the impact and scalability of the team
