• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 14 years of experience in leading negotiations or business development.
• Experience in acquiring services or driving business development with providers of colocation, dark fiber, capacity, and network services.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in navigating and deriving regulatory, business, and technical environments.
• Knowledge of edge and global carrier networks.
• Ability to build consensus and provide clarity in business and technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiators overseeing commercial negotiations and vendor relationships.
• Develop and execute plans for network infrastructure acquisition, ensuring alignment with Google’s growth objectives.
• Negotiate agreements for managed optical services, dark fiber, space, and submarine cable infrastructure.
• Cultivate partnerships with government and regulatory bodies to advance Google’s network infrastructure goals.
• Present recommendations and updates to Google leadership.
