Sr. Atlassian tool administrator provides configuration and administrative support of Cloud-based Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, Insite and key 3rd party add-ons. The Sr. tool admin will work with multiple Granicus teams to design and implement templates and workflows associated with Atlassian tools.
Working with our Outsourced Atlassian support the Sr. tool admin will oversee projects to include new acquisition migrations and standardization, as well as administration to the Insite CMDB tool.

Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/Confluence/Insite build and configureProvide application support for JIRA, Confluence and Insite/CMDB for the rest of the businessUnderstanding of JIRA APIs and webhooksSupport JIRA, Confluence, and Insite usersWork with business users to evaluate JIRA, Confluence and Insite plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation, and configuration of the plug-insUtilizes design skills to define JIRA workflows and the related screen schemes for complex and high impact projectsImplement custom xml based JIRA gadgetsSupport and configure JIRA plugins as requiredGenerate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support runbooksCreate JIRA projects, queries and reports as requiredAdministration of Insite CMDB, Scans, Reports, Data validationDrive the efficiency and effectiveness of the processesManage and own the toolsCreate and improve standard operating procedures related to tool usageReport on various metrics pertaining to product service delivery, health and reliabilityTrack and prioritize configuration ticket requests through their lifecycleProvide work direction to Jr. tools AdminWork with Outsourced vendor on upgrades and migrations.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of the organizationSolid understanding of Atlassian tool suiteStrong knowledge of infrastructure and operating systemsCMDB Setup and AdministrationUnderstanding of Web Technologies (Cloud/Amazon Web Services, Jira, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java)Configuring & managing development & testing sandboxesDevelops and maintains integrations between Atlassian tools and other systemsUnderstand tools ITIL support framework to ensure strong understanding of processesCreates logic flow charts and process diagrams based on client need5-7 years’ experience in supporting JIRAAtlassian tool certification a plusThe ideal candidate is required to have solid written and verbal skills, a strong technical mindset, a knack for solving problems and an attention to detail.
