Responsibilities

î Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code that adheres to specifications

î Document as per organization guidelines and standards

î Integrate with other systems or applications using appropriate mechanisms

î Improve functionality of existing systems.

î Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

î Actively participate in design discussions involving business requirements

î Learn “on the job” to take up independent assignments

î Provide visibility on progress of work on a periodic basis

î Provide meaningful estimate of assigned work with appropriate justification

Skillset Required / Mandatory
î Extensive knowledge of Python (v3 or above)with usage in minimum 2 projects

î Good understanding of statistical concepts like correlation, data distribution, outlier removal techniques, gap filling techniques, MAPE, normalization, and standardization

î Extensive knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), specifically

o ML algorithms like XGBoost & Random Forest

o Performance metrics for Regression & Classification problems

o Training & Testing, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) & Cross Validation

î In-depth understanding of Time Series Analysis, the data involved & statistical forecasting algorithms such as ARIMA

î Basic understanding of version control with knowledge of any one of: SVN, VSS, CVS, TFS / GitHub

Preferable / Nice to have

î Deep Learning / Neural Networks

î Natural Language Processing (NLP)

î Sentiment Analysis

î Knowledge of libraries / frameworks like numpy, SciKit and Excel related libraries

î Experience in any of the Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP or Iterative

î Basic knowledge of SQL, using any RDBMS like MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engg or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of experience working in software development projects

Salary: ₹400,000.00 – ₹1,200,000.00 per year
