Hanifa School Hiring for School Counselor (Immediate Hiring) at Borsad, Gujarat Full Time
Hanifa School is a co-educational CBSE affiliated School, located on a pollution-free lush green campus of 4 acres. At present, it caters to classes from Nursery to class XII( 3 Streams: Science, Commerce and Humanities)
The school is alive to the challenge of moulding a new generation of students into a genre of well-integrated personalities equipped with the life skills necessary to take up future challenges. Empowering every student and building his/her understanding forms an integral part of the school system.
We offer to prepare students for all types of competitive exams. For students of higher secondary, we offer preparation for KVPY and NTSE. For students of senior secondary, we offer preparation for the IELTS Academic exam. To science stream students, we offer preparation of JEE, NEET, and GUJCET. To students of the commerce stream, we offer preparation for CA Basic and for the students of the Humanities stream, we prepare them for CLAT and provide an outlook of UPSC exams.
We also have a Hostel facility for boys of 12 years and above. Our hostel provides an environment of deen along with academic preparation. We don’t allow students to use their mobile phones in the hostel, but parents can contact their wards on school phones. The school also has indoor and outdoor sports facilities for all students.
It was founded by Mr. YunusFazlani in the year 2005, with the vision and motto of –

Job Description:
School counselors assist students, teachers, and Parents at all levels, They act as advocates for students well-being, and as valuable resources for their educational advancement. As a school counselor, youll first and foremost listen to students concerns. Because everyones home and social life is different, you could be the only person who fulfills that need for them at a given time.
You may help students with issues such as bullying, disabilities, low self-esteem, poor academic performance and relationship troubles. You can refer them to a psychologist or mental health counselor for further treatment if necessary. In addition, youll evaluate students abilities, interests and personalities to help them develop realistic academic and career goals. Youll facilitate aptitude tests and formulate potential paths to success.
On the job, school counselors:
Listen to students concerns about academic, emotional or social problems
Help students process their problems and plan goals and action
Mediate conflict between students and teachers
Improve parent/teacher relationships
Facilitate drug and alcohol prevention programs
Organize peer counseling programs
Refer students to psychologists and other mental health resources
Work on academic boards to improve learning conditions
