Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Director – Cybersecurity who will play a pivotal role in scaling our cybersecurity practice, driving client growth, and positioning our firm as a leader in the cybersecurity space. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of cybersecurity strategies, a strong track record in managing and growing cybersecurity practices, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that address the evolving security needs of our clients.What You Will Do

• Define and implement the overall strategy for the cybersecurity practice, aligning it with the firm’s business goals and market demands.
• Drive the expansion of the cybersecurity practice by identifying new service offerings, expanding capabilities, and developing a robust portfolio of cybersecurity solutions.
• Establish HARMAN’s cybersecurity practice as a market leader by driving thought leadership, participating in industry events, and influencing cybersecurity trends.

• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the cybersecurity business across existing and new clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions.
• Lead high-impact cybersecurity consulting engagements, ensuring the delivery of innovative and effective solutions that address clients’ security challenges and drive their business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity risks, trends, and best practices.

• Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
• Ensure the team is equipped with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity services. Encourage professional development and certifications among team members.

• Drive the creation of innovative cybersecurity solutions that address emerging threats and leverage the latest technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and cloud security.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions, and industry bodies to enhance the firm’s cybersecurity offerings and stay ahead of industry trends.

• Oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Advise clients on cybersecurity risk management strategies, including threat assessment, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within a technology services or consulting firm.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to drive growth and profitability.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong client-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
