Harris Computer Systems Hiring for Insurance Collector at Remote Full Time

As the Insurance Collector you will be responsible for ensuring denials are resolved and respective claims are rebilled, contact insurance carriers via their websites and phone to get current status of that claim, resubmit those claims if needed, clearly document all activity/actions on claims accordingly.
What your impact will be:

Responsible for insurance claim follow up for both denials the payer has sent back and following up on claims that have not yet been paid but have no denial.

Much of the follow up required on denials and unpaid claims is completed via phone calls to the insurance carriers and logging into the payer websites to obtain certain information.

All actions/activity taken on each claim must be clearly documented in the system.

Claims that can be fixed will need to be rebilled accordingly.

Review denial trends and outstanding claims issues with supervisor so that these issues can be communicated to the account manager to be reviewed during monthly call with provider/practice manager.

Insurance unpaid claims follow up via websites and calling the insurances

Reviewing/understanding certain denial types

Fixing and resubmitting claims accordingly and documenting all claim actions/activity
