About Harsco GSC

Harsco GSC handles a wide range of services, finance and accounting shared services, global HR shared services, providing IT Service and helpdesk support and market research support to Harsco globally. We are Operating since 2008 & Serving 30+ Countries

• Provide support with respect to Maintaining Item Masters globally

• Ability to understand the ERP system and concepts of Item Creations

• Understand and process the appropriate Item Amendment requests

• Basics of Meta data and Global data Repository management

• Activation or Deactivation of Item repository

• Working knowledge on UNSPSC classification and should be able to assign UNSPSC codes to the Items requested

• Maintain Master data integrity with periodic review and enrichment of data.

• Should have a good knowledge of Mechanical parts and categories of items

• Monitor Item Master policies and procedures, and escalate/remediate as necessary

• Standardize the process in order to have one method of work flow.

• Requests and assist PDQ(Product data Quality) lens creation

• Ensure the item description language translations are maintained intact depending on the regions.
