North American Open Market Property Technician, City, c.60K, working for a Global Lloyd’s Broker

Your new company

Your new role working as a North American Open Market Property Technician will be working for an international Lloyd’s Broker with offices based in London and Worldwide. Your new Brokers ensure that they negotiate and handle complex transactions and have the knowledge to provide valued and trusted advice to all their customers. You will be working within a well-respected and dynamic Wholesale North American Property team working alongside Brokers, Account Executives and other Technicians. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a highly experienced North American Open Market Property Technician to join their already established and growing team, working alongside the Brokers dealing with Open Market North American Property and related risks.

Your new role

Your new job working as a North American Open Market Technician means you will be responsible for providing effective day to day servicing of existing clients/agents accounts and handling client’s/agent’s demands. You will be responsible for the production of MRC Slips, Endorsements and Underwriting submissions for their broking strategy. You will also build relationships with brokers/clients/agents to ensure that their demands and needs are fully understood and met. Monitor the i-workflow process and clients/agents payment status, taking necessary action to ensure prompt payment. (Depending on experience) you will be efficient in Property Wording Interpretation and confident in the ability to discuss coverage issues/opportunities as well as assisting brokers in account management and strategies. Other duties will include analysing and preparation of broking submissions and ensuring clients/agents payment status are controlled.

What you’ll need to succeed

Your previous experience working within Insurance as an Open Market Technician or North American Technician, handling North American Property risks will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven experience producing technical documentation to include MRC Slips and endorsements. You will be self-motivated, friendly and confident allowing you to adapt well into a diverse team of Brokers and Technicians whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with the team, clients and Underwriters.
