Herbalife Hiring for Officer, Quality Assurance – India at Nagpur, Maharashtra Full Time

This position is having the primary purpose of ensuring compliance to the Herbalife requirements and adherence to HLF’s

global procedures in Quality assurance during the Receiving, handling, storage and dispatch of Herbalife products from the

warehouse location in Central India.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is for the QA Officer at the MWH-2 for Herbalife products.

Location is going to be in and around Nagpur (Maharashtra).

This position will be responsible for various QA activities on the site including but not limited to:

Inspection of all the incoming batches on site, from manufacturing site, as per Herbalife Global AQL inspection rules.

Documenting all the inspection activities and upload them in System (Agile) and do necessary disposition actions based on the results of inspection.

Coordinate with warehousing team to release or reject the material in Oracle, on timely basis.

In case of Rejections, plan and execute the disposition of stocks as per defined matrix.

Conduct 100% inspection of stocks based on the disposition requirements.

Conduct facility inspection on periodic basis on the lines of Good Storage Practices

Impart regular/ periodic training to the facility staff for Herbalife Quality standards and requirements.

Maintain documentation for all activities and inspections at WH and generate regular/ periodic reports for same.

Conduct on-site/ remote audits to ensure compliance to Herbalife Quality requirements at distribution centers.

Travel for conducting GSP Audits/ inspections/ training to other distribution centers within India and share timely reports and support & follow-up for closure of audit observations.

Drive & Participation in cross functional improvement projects and meetings and conferences as per defined responsibilities

Projects: Continual Improvement projects for Quality Assurance and control

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: This position will be directly reporting into Senior Manager QA – India.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual need in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education:
Graduation in any stream with preference to Science/ Food Technology/ Food Science/ Chemical Technology other allied streams.

Candidates with relevant experience in Quality inspections at warehouses in Food segment will be preferred.

Skills:
Having working knowledge and experience on basic WH Quality processes such as FIFO/FEFO, GSP, Product inspection, Sampling, etc.

Must be well versed with Microsoft office (Word, Power point & Excel)

Experienced or Trained in Quality and/or Food Safety Management system implementation (HACCP/ ISO 9001/ ISO 22K/ FOSTAC) will be a plus point

Good Communication Skills both written and verbal

Experience:
Min. 2-3 years’ experience in relevant field
