Seeking a QA & Automation Specialist for iLO product.

You will work with a world class team on qualification and testing of the next generation infrastructure and lifecycle m anagement portfolio of HPE products. Our highly committed team of engineers believe in achieving the best value for our customers by extreme collaborat ion and doing it right the first time !

• What you will do:

• Work wit h value chain partners to understand product requirement and influence features, functionality and design to build debuggable , programmable and maintainable software and arrive at effective and efficient test strategies.

• Define the goals for unit / functional /system/ performance /s calability testing and drive the teams towards achieving these goals.

• Provide test leadership, define automation best practices and set high standards for the entire team to build cons istent and maintainable tests

• M entor/coach development our engineers

• Research, recommend and implement open source and other tools as needed to increase automation across the board with the view of optimizing & creating better test and release efficiencies.

• Who y ou are :

• An ambassador for quality with a passion for testing and test automation.

• Articulate with superior communication skills and demonstrable success with the full software development lifecycle s and experience with Agile development processes.

• Experience developing and testing entire systems, with capability to understand details and mixed technologies.

• A ‘hands on’ leader who partners and collaborates t o build effective test strategies and can contribute and influence product architecture and functional spec.

• A creative thinker who can solve problems

• You have a keen eye for detail and can id entify functional corner/edge cases, timing issue s, security loopholes, debug complex issues with performance, scaling.

• You’ve g ot

• A B achelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 1 2 + years of experience or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 1 0 + years of experience.

• Extensive Experience in one or more of the following:

• Python

• reactJS

• Robo and any other automation framework(Python unittest, Pytest)

• REST APIs, JSON/XML

• An understanding of d atacenters, servers, storage and networking concepts

• E xpertise in designing test strategies for applications based on micro services architecture.

• W orking knowledge o f CI/CD having had experience working with containers, Dockers, Kubernetes and other virtualization platforms

• Experience in designing quality assurance and test processes for subsystems of end-user applications, systems software and firmware running on h ardware that maybe local, networked and/or on i nternet- based platforms.

• Experience in design ing and determining test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.

• Hands-o n experience in design and development of automation framework and simulators

• Exposure to w hite – box testing and the ability to r ead through product code, debugging issues, improv ing coverage and identify ing missing scenario s is an advantage.
