Associate System Engineer
Onsite- Chennai Office
What is the Job all about?
We are looking to hire a qualified Electrical design engineer. In this role, you will be required to meet with clients / Sales development team to determine their design requirements, plan and implement the design of Electrical control panels and work closely with the manufacturing / Supplier teams to ensure that design specifications are met.
Your main responsibilities:

• To act in line with the Grundfos Purpose, Values and its policies, and to be part of CSU Team.
• Meeting with Sales teams and clients to determine Electrical applications and requirements in Standard / Non- Standard Hydro and HVAC systems.
• Design and select suitable components required for the Control panel with cost effective solution.
• Planning and implementing the Electrical design using Eplan Electric P8 and AutoCAD within project timelines.
• Knowledge in PLC Programming is essential. (Siemens, ABB, AB etc)
• Testing of control panels (software and hardware for the PLC, HMI, HVAC, Hydro).
• Prepare Part Code Creation and Bill of Material for the system in SAP.
• Documenting the design process, iterations and maintain product design file.
• Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents and release Engineering Change Master documents
• Initiate improvements in design through Standardization, Cost optimization solution without compromising safety and quality.
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.

Your background:

• University or college degree in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical design engineer
• Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD /Pro E and Eplan Electric P8
• Knowledge of Electrical Panels and components
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
• Proven technical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced time management and organizational skills.
• Advanced verbal and written communication abilities.
• Following Instructions and Procedures
• Working with People
