Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Technological Site Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.

About the Position: Need experienced person in handling & Leading Mainline construction activities including bidding support for tendering for construction function
Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure the delivery of projects in South & East zone mainline with in time and budget
• Handover of systems by duly ensuring the quality of construction work to T&C team
• Support other project functions to ensure on time delivery through team
• Ensure HSE compliances at all the time for the projects involved
• Providing on time construction BOQ and estimate to bidding team for all mainline projects across India
• Visit to site for inspection and improvement from construction side by the team members
• Attending regular meetings with functional manager and Project Managers
• Attending meetings with customer as per the requirement of PM
• Maintain forecast less than or equal to Budget for the assigned projects
• Ensure the quality of the works by team members (e.g. compliance of the works with the projects design and specifications)

• Ensure compliance of construction activities with the construction planning

• Liaise with Customers /Authorities /Contractors/ Partner/Subcontractors for site and/or materials takeover and/or handover through team members as well as by individual according to requirement

• Ensure the optimization of the resources (internal and external/subcontractors) in the project on site, having as baseline the project budget and Planning

• Ensure the continuous updating and improvement of processes and procedures

Key qualifications preferred: Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Electrical or electronics and communication Engineering
What we offer: Positioned at Bangalore office with 30% travel for south & East zone mainline projects to handle along with all mainline projects bidding to handle for across India
