Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Grade: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager

Location: Doddaballapur, Bangalore

Hitachi Astemo FIE pvt Ltd is unlisted private company which produces high precision carburetors & air suction valves to cater to the Indian two wheeler & three wheeler automobiles. The Product and services include PB TYPE, EMS, CV TYPE, AIR SUCTION VALVE.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Receipt LOT clearance.

Assuring continual improvement in Supplier.

Ensure elimination of line stoppages through Coordination with Purchase, PPC, store & production Departments.

Ensure the completion of QAV activities.

Ensure Smooth running of SAP System & other regular SAP activities.

Ensuring the Rejection data preparation.

Ensure adherence to procedures as per IATF 16949 and other audit requirements & should be qualified IATF 16949 Internal auditors

In case of non-conformities during inspection, raising UQI and Follow up with Purchase & Supplier for countermeasure actions.

In case of segregation, raising abnormal form monitoring and closing of abnormal form etc.

Verification & monitoring of past troubles and its Counter measure actions to close the past troubles.

Monitoring of all system entries in case of quality trouble during Inspection

Improve the supplier system & part quality to achieve the requirement for Direct on Line

Monitor receipt inspection activity.

Maintain past trouble data and verify actions regularly.

Every month end PPM data preparation & sending to all Supplier.

Meeting with buyer & supplier to reduce the quality troubles.

Monitoring & closing of non-conformities.

Verifying & follow up on PPAP activities.

If any abnormalities raised by production, then carry out necessary activity for supply of OK parts to line and communication to all concerned buyer & supplier.

Investigation of line problem related to supplier parts & coordination to production department.

Information line problems status to PPC, Purchase, supplier after investigation.

In case of high severity, supplier visit immediately to analysis at process stage.

Follow up & monitor the countermeasure actions decided and taken

Monthly Planning & execution of QAV at supplier end.

Preparation of QAV report and taking approval from HOD.

Follow up of closing NCR raised during QAV.

Monitoring of countermeasure against QAV’s NCR

Qualification: BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 10-12 years
