A degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant computer science discipline
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide second level technical support as part of the IT Operations team to deliver exemplary customer service to clients
Support, optimization and customization of our software using core Microsoft technologies
Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online tools and processes
Ensuring that client systems are fully operational and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner
Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times
Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management
Deployment of service releases, patches, requests and customizations
Create productive relationships with and between key stakeholders
Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy
Learn and apply the newly gained knowledge, resolve complex problems and work independently
Prepare and deliver on-site and in-person training to clients on test development tools, and advising on best practices
Provide on-site and in-person software installation of test development tools on client systems
Technical skills
Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify the root of issues and solve re-occurring technical problems
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple issues at one time throughout the day
Responsible for classification, categorization, and prioritization of incidents
Practical experience of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Understanding of software development cycle
Basic experience in programming using Microsoft technologies such as C#, VB.Net, Web, HTML/CSS/JS, to improve efficiencies and provide workarounds to issues
Good knowledge and experience with MS SQL Scripts
