BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: Measurement and analysis of beam data and tabulation of beam data for clinical use. Treatment planning of conventional, 3DCRT and IMRT patients in LA and treatment planning in Brachytherapy. Time and Monitor Unit calculation in LA. Establishment of QA procedures in radiotherapy regarding delivery of the treatment, radiation safety, quality control and regulatory compliance. To supervise, check and carry out complex treatment planning of the Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy Treatment (IMRT) techniques. To carry out patient specific absolute dosimetry of IMRT patients. To ensure that the ultimate disposal of waste containing radioactive materials is done in a manner approved by the competent authority. To regulate the safe movement of all radioactive materials (including wastes containing radioactive materials) within the area under his/her charge. Ensure that quality assurance tests of structures, systems, components and sources, as applicable are conducted.
