Job Summary

As a Digital Business Analyst on our Digital Customer Experience team, you will act as a technical product owner on our eCommerce and Portal solutions. You will closely work with IT Business partners, digital product owners, technical teams, delivery arm, and vendors to define, design, implement, support and educate on solutions to meet business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of Future Shapers and shape the digital customer experience for Industrial Automation and to play a leading role in making these solutions best in class.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, and how our ecommerce/portal platform can meet those needs.
• Define and prioritize features for our ecommerce and portal platform, balancing customer needs with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, release engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of features.
• Be able to communicate the vision, strategy, and progress of our ecommerce platform to internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to inform future development. Monitor industry trends to provide competitive insights to internal team for consideration.
• Write technical stories based on business requirements, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and actionable for the development team.
• Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and level of effort to find optimal solutions that maximize impact while being mindful of capacity consumption
• Perform risk assessments to proactively develop response strategies
• Support project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Monitor the performance of project execution and development through active participation in scrums and status calls.
• Advocate for best practices and best in class solutions to business and customer challenges. Be willing and able to negotiate for optimal outcomes in the best interest of the platform and the business.
• Support troubleshooting efforts as necessary and work proactively to maintain a fully functional platform with best-in-class performance metrics
• Work to maintain a high standard of platform performance and proactively improve platform health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years overall IT experience
• 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on ecommerce or portal.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce/portal platforms, technologies, and trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to drive results and deliver successful products.
• Experience in writing technical stories based on business requirements.
