Position: Buyer & Merchandiser

Location: Rabale, Navi Mumbai

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and organized Buyer & Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock, ensuring that the right products are in the right place at the right time, and supporting the seamless execution of merchandising strategies across stores. If you have a keen eye for trends and a strong understanding of retail operations, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee stock levels and manage inventory for the brand.
• Coordinate and liaison with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and efficient stock movement.
• Assist in planning and implementing store layouts, product placements, and visual merchandising to maximize sales.
• Work closely with sales team to align stock with customer demand and market trends.
• Analyze sales data to monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products, driving replenishment and markdown strategies.
• Ensure that merchandise is allocated appropriately across all store sections, optimizing product availability.
• Monitor sales v/s stock performance, creating regular reports on sales and inventory levels.
• Work closely with the supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure smooth logistics and inventory management.
• Stay updated on current fashion trends, especially within Western wear, to ensure product offerings meet customer expectations.
• Liaise with store managers and teams to resolve stock-related issues and ensure consistent product availability.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in a merchandising role within retail/fashion.
• Strong understanding of merchandising principles and retail operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams and with suppliers.
• A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach to stock management.
