Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to operation teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an lead providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the IT organization to HP biz. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
Responsibilities:
Leads as the project manager for daily operation of critical HP applications: 3W being the main one and others.
Govern the availability and performance of those applications and ensure critical biz processes are carried out in those applications with expected schedules and performance.
Ensures all outstanding issues with the applications reported by biz are addressed in a timely manner.
Governs the daily work of partner team. Ensures that partner team is doing the necessary to achieve the expected SLAs for system stability, performance and ticket resolution.
Works closely with biz project manager and partner management to drive for the operation excellence of applications in scope.
Work with Microsoft as the strategic service provider on daily operation and ad hoc cooperation.
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum 3 years experience as project manager or project lead for at least 2 end to end project
5 or more years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net; databases like SqlServer/ Oracle; and Testing tools Experience of multiple full release cycles.
Advanced understanding of regular project management methodologies like waterfall and Agile, its deliverables, milestones and common practices.
Good knowledge on MS technologies like .net framework and Azure Cloud platform and the common software architecture for a public cloud based application
Good knowledge on MS Dynamics based CRM system solutions
Development experience with MS .net and Azure is preferred
Advanced understanding of modern software development tools
Good acumen of supply chain business
Good understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools. Expert in Database Administration.
General Customer/ Vendor Management. Business Analysis.
Advanced Web technologies. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
