Designation: Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Handle end to end project management cycle and own the umbrella of Projects of the entire team implementing Agile best practices for delivery framework

• To perform end to end project management cycle right from initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling and closing.

• Manages and overcome any roadblock with business and peer partners to evaluate and foster data driven innovation, provide domain-specific expertise in cross-organization projects/initiatives.

• Handling the sprint events (planning, daily scrum, review & retrospective)

• Provides guidance, training and mentoring to less experienced staff members on project management.

Knowledge & Skills

• Well versed and experienced with technical project management best practices

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with proficiency in grasping new technical concepts quickly and utilizing them in an effective manner

• Knowledge of data science and machine learning tasks at a high level

Scope & Impact

• Individual contributor

• Managing individual project boards (on Jira, Azure DevOps)

• Sprint and quarterly planning for projects

• Delivery status reporting to stakeholders

• Stakeholder engagement

• Infra/roadblocks

• Keep engineers accountable for their work/tasks

• Conduct the ceremonies for all the projects

• Define and Drive best practices of data science project management

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s, Master’s(technical) or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent.

• Typically, 11+ years’ experience excluding graduate or postgraduate.
