JOB SUMMARY

The QS is responsible for costing, procurement, contract administration, and pre- and post-construction work. You work closely with the project team, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure that the construction and engineering aspects of the project are completed within the agreed-upon scope, timeline, and budget.

· Ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.

· Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

· Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

· Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

· Purchasing materials ae per Project requirement.

· Computing the cost of manhours, materials, subcon and transportation for certain project.

· Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.

· Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.

· Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.

· Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

· Certifying claims to subcontractors and main contractors
