Role:Vice President: Cloud Ops Delivery

Location: Bangalore

Department: Global IT

Job Shift: 1PM – 10PM

We seek to hire a senior professional to join the Global IT Team in Bangalore. This person will have a variety of responsibilities within the Cloud Ops Delivery team of the Global IT group.

The Position:

In this role, you should have proven experience assessing client’s workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop a business case and Cloud adoption roadmap. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with our internal stakeholders across the businesses & technology teams.

Your Responsibilities:

• Doing cost optimization on Azure
• To understand security and proactively help working with the security team in terms of implementing best practices
• Utilize the Azure services especially database services and SMTP services
• Design the overall Virtual Network environment including server instances, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Design the AZURE network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
• Set up process, services, and tools around Azure cloud
• Oversee build of the environment. Validate the environment to meet all security and compliance controls
• Hands-on experience with cloud assessment and migration steps
• Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Subject Matter Expert level of Azure skills as Technical Architect with implementation and sustenance experience dealing with global stakeholders
• Awareness of different technology stacks like LAMP, LEMP, MEAN, 2-Tier application, 3-Tier Application, Micro Service, Kubernetes, PaaS services, etc. Hands-on experience will be an added advantage
• Experience in Systems Operations / Management, Database architecture, Virtualization, IP Networking, Storage, IT Security, Wintel, Linux
• Proven knowledge of Azure platform, tools, and native services
• Expertise in overseeing application architecture and deployment in cloud environments including public/private and traditional IT (hybrid/enterprise cloud). Ability to act as consultants on cloud strategy and need to stay up to date on the latest trends and issues and development in the hybrid cloud world
• Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps toolchains and processes (Git, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, and Cloud formation)

Requirements

Your Profile:

• B-Tech. BE / MCA from reputed university with 10+ years relevant work experience in similar profile
• AZURE Solutions Architect Certification
• Proven rich experience working as Solution Architect
• Good command over Linux shell command, Windows PowerShell
• Scripting knowledge of at least one of the following: o Bash o Python
• Financial services Domain understanding
• Excellent communication skills
• Open to travel
