We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:

• Administer MFT infrastructure, activities include onboarding/demising partners, monitoring health of application servers, deploying applications on servers, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Share technical knowledge and skills with members to perform tasks as expected.
• Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, appropriate documentation.
• Participate in all technical tasks defined for the team.
• Participate in POCs and other technical initiatives.
• Be aware of the ongoing infrastructure issues and vigilant to avoid / minimize downtime of services.
• Understand business, environments, shared services to prioritize incidents.
• Track and resolve incidents per SLA.
• Follow best practices while addressing issues.
• Apply performance monitoring / tuning methodologies to investigate issues.
• Support the security audit remediation and related testing
• Meet the delivery standards as per the agreement that includes quality of deliverables, documentation.
• Provide timely reports.
• Interact with application teams and other infrastructure teams.
• Work with regions for MIRs and SIPs.
• Identify operational risks and contribute to mitigate the same.
• Understand business requirements and technical specifications.
• Liaise with other specialists, architects.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• IBM Sterling File Gateway (Sterling Integrator) Implementation, Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling Connect:Direct (Unix / Windows) Implementation, Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling External Authentication Server Implementation, Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling Secure Proxy Implementation, Configuration and Operation
• IBM Sterling Control Center Implementation, Configuration and Operation
• OpenSSH Implementation, Configuration and Operation
• Excellent general knowledge of file transfer protocols (e.g. sFTP, FTPS, C:D, AS2, HTTPS) and products
• Windows and Linux system administration
• Knowledge of cryptography / key management (SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP/GPG etc.) and data security
• Wide experience of operational management of systems
• Leading and delivering change to processes and systems
• A strong level of IT literacy, including a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure (operating systems, networking, security)
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to manage self-workload, set and meet customer expectations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong sense of ‘do the right thing’ in relation to standards and governance
