We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role, you will:

• Need an understanding of the functional and non-functional requirements through regular interactions with the Product Managers, Business Analysts, SMEs and Solution Architects.
• Have to work closely with technical product manager on new requirements and design a solution which is configurable, more reusable and maintainable for a global product.
• Have people management responsibilities for a team of 4-6 developers.
• Have to work with closely with developers to provide ongoing guidance and resolve their technical issues or blockers.
• Have responsibility of performance management and build a high performing team and demonstrate increased technical as well as domain expertise capabilities for self and team.
• Have to perform peer code reviews
• Have to ensure development team is adopting sound engineering practices for building software solutions.
• Have to evaluate and implement fit for purpose software tools to help increase team’s productivity
• Have to take a lead in service recovery process in event of production incidents and proactively review outstanding production problems and plan to reduce technical debts.
• Have to participate in technical forums to help increase technical acumen of self and the team

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience with Java/J2EE, SQL, API, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL,DB2, Front end UI development, batch process development
• Past experience of working as a Full stack Java developer
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as he/she has to work in global environments
• Proven ability to define and build architecturally sound solution designs
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
• Should be a DevOps Champion and have the ability to adopt latest tools and practices that ensures high quality deliverables
