Job Description

: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Process & Production Management

• Take active role in controlling the emergency condition/situation as defined in EMO
• Operations of Unit Operations like Evaporators / Centrifuge,/ Vacuum pump,/Cooling tower ,/ filtration systems, /Drying process as per Standard Operating Procedures
• Carrying out synthesis reactions like Diazotization, Coupling etc. as per define Standard Operating Procedures
• Equipment Operation (handling & cleaning).
• Troubleshooting of any process deviation and report it to shift chemist and process owner.
• Fill the parameters maintained during the shift in prescribed format.
• Basic Knowledge of Process / Personnel Safety
• Awareness of Emergency Shutdown Procedures
• Carry out the operations like opening of manual valves , taking samples etc. by himself as per the steps defined in Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage the operations via PLC / Control systems.
• Handover the plant to his reliever in operating condition.
• Ensuring that the operational discipline programme or initiatives are implemented on shop floor and minimum requirements like proper filling of production log sheets are completed.
• Handling of hazardous material by himself, by following all safety and process requirements.
