A product development and quality control manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and production of a company’s products. This includes ensuring that the products meet the required specifications and standards, as well as managing the quality control process to identify and correct any issues. Company operates in Kitchen and Home Appliances like Gas Stoves, OTG, Toasters, and iron etc.
Key Responsibility Area (KRAs)
Product development
● Overseeing the product development process from start to finish, including design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing
● Ensuring that products meet the required specifications and standards, including regulatory and industry standards
● Working with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that products meet the needs of customers and are delivered on time and within budget
● Improving design and features of existing products/models
● Comprehensively improving safety features
● Timely upgrading products
● Provide suggestions for creating USPs
● Close working with OEMs to make sure product is developed as decided
Quality
● Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to identify and address any issues or defects in the products
Analyzing and interpreting data from product testing and quality control inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement
Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in the production process
● Prepare user manual / service manual
● Lot inspections at OEM
● Train service partners
Follow up with service partners for correct services provided
Coordinate with overseas supplier to ensure correct quality shipments
Reports / MIS
● Providing weekly reports for all development in pipeline
● Improvements started/completed
● Service TAT and TAG reports
Qualifications of candidate applying for this position –
● B.tech (Electricals )
● Experience in Kitchen appliances must in small appliances.
● Must have good understanding of ecommerce product lines
● Good working experience in Excel sheet/ Google Sheet, MIS creation
● Technology savvy, Proficient in Microsoft (word, excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suites (doc, sheet, slides)
● Well presented and articulate
● Excellent interpersonal skills and business understanding
● Organized and focused in daily rituals
● Coordination skills
● Attention to detail
● Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Years of experience (Essential/Must, Desired/Good to have) – 5 years
● Candidate should have worked with employers like – kitchen appliances brands like Lifelong , butterfly , pigeon , Sunflame

Salary: ₹600,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per year
