Role & Responsibilities

• Passionate about food and building ideas from the ground up.Experience in working with food/tech startups is welcome

• Broad understanding of fresh food /bulk cooking methods , conversion and application of food technology to build scalable processes for various cuisines (Indian,Biryani,chinese and frozen snacks to begin with).

• Abreast with the latest and important transformative food technology to handle bulk cooking at our central facility and build further systems to support the entire product cycle until it reaches the customer – storage ,cold chain, logistics , storage and processing at the outlets being a few key areas .

• Has an appetite and competency to drive long term innovation to solve ‘scalability’ and ‘shelf life’ as key focus areas for majority of the freshly made food items,under popular cuisines like Indian,South Indian,Biryani,oriental and frozen snacks – that are commercially viable.

• Has been an individual / team contributor accountable for building and deploying long term solutions for bulk cooking /QSR /Restaurant backend facilities .

• Will work closely with the central kitchen team to build and run one of India’s most diverse and one of its kind cloud kitchen models.

• Will give constant updates on the safety and food quality standards to be adopted

• Leading a team of multi-disciplinary resources developing products and solutions at the intersection of food science, culinary wonders and food technology .

• Build systems and talent for the central kitchen that will help managing product delivery timelines without compromise on cost,quality and robustness

• End to end product lifecycle management for innovations and renovations of existing menu items
