Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be supporting infrastructure related troubleshooting and resolve issues on cloud platform. Willingness to support in rotational 24/7 shifts if need be.

Responsibilities

IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4 to 8 years of experience in public cloud – AWS cloud platform.
• Background in Linux/Unix/Windows system administration.
• Experience in 1st and 2nd line support (ticketing systems).
• Strong experience in supporting external customers (customer centric approach)
• Experience in network and security field.
• Knowledge on containers, host automation and operating systems
• Experience in solution architecture design
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting
• Solid skills in Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good experience in leading and managing teams of at least 2-3 jr cloud engineers
• Good Communication skill
• Programming background with good knowledge in a modern programming language such as Golang or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and IAC
• Previous experience working with an external customer/being a consultant
