Your Role and Responsibilities
As DB2 Database Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Hence please check with the candidate whether they have the working exposure on HADR environment along with troubleshooting exposure before sending to us for further screening.
Role and Responsibilities:
3 – 6 years of increasing knowledge of at least one technical skill core module such as: DB2.
Understand principles of devops and automation.
Understand fundamentals of version upgrades.
Basics of ITIL/process knowledge (SLA’s/KPI’s).
Knowledge of ticketing and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of agile principles and scrum practices.
Should have a positive attitude and a growth mindset.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 2+ years in IBM DB2, DB2 HADR, DB2 Tools install, configure, and upgrade
Demonstrable experience in Support, designing, troubleshooting of above technology
Ability to articulate best practices during implementation
Proven experience in risk-based systems running on UNIX / LINUX platforms along with OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization
Demonstrated experience in handling day-to-day Operation, Alert, Incident support, Migration and break-fix support
Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
This role will require you to be hands on technical.
This role will require you work both as individual contributor or in a team of experienced Application Server Administrators and support 24X7X365 operations, as the requirement may be.
As this is a client facing role, there will be interaction with the clients.
Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching and monitoring of DB2 Database servers
Administer, monitor, troubleshoot application server configuration and performance.
Configuration and troubleshooting of DB2 HADR
Timely security patching and applying support fixes as required.
Role management and User administration.
Space administration on application servers.
