Your Role and Responsibilities

Who you are:
As part of this role in z/OS Connect development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and automating DevSecOps pipeline for the product. You will play a key role in simulating use cases based on customer deployments, incorporating early feedback from customers into DevOps pipeline and thereby enabling customer satisfaction.

As a DevOps specialist, you will

• Define use cases closely aligned to customer deployment scenarios and automate DevOps pipeline for the product.
• Define and implement DevSecOps pipeline using Red Hat OpenShift and Docker
• Learn and apply deep technical skills, creativity and judgement to the analysis, development, and implementation of complex use cases.
• Understand and effectively execute using Agile and DevOps software development processes and procedures and innovate new approaches as appropriate.
• Work as part of a highly skilled, friendly, lively, innovative, and enthusiastic team.
• Submit patents that will contribute towards IBM’s intellectual property portfolio.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Years of Experience- 5 to 12
• Automation experience using Ansible, Jenkins, Travis, Gradle, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.
• Experience using cloud platforms like IBM, AWS, Azure, etc.
• Experience with Open ID, OAuth, Kerberos, etc.
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments.
• Experience with Git, product release management, etc.
• Software problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Good communication skills, both verbally and digitally
• An eagerness to learn and exploit new technologies and computer languages.
