Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• BCP -DR Application Architecture

Your understanding customer IT-DR for On-Prime/Off-Prime/Hybrid Infrastructure for the application
Your understanding DR-DRILL Manual RUN-BOOK, to map them into IBM Resiliency Orchestration solution(Sanovi DRM solution).

• Content Maintenance

Perform updates, revisions
Materials subject to maintenance include : LLD,HDL, Solution Design/Approach document, Technical Reports , PPTs, FAQs, White papers, etc.

• Training

Develop Operational (or) technical training contents in the form of PPT presentations,
Demos and Webinars for the implementation landscape(customer environment).
Training audience will include Internal/Channel Partners/Customers.

• Education and Self Development

Continue to develop Subject Matter expertise through external and internal training and excel as a technical evangelist in the latest Disaster Recovery area of expertise.

• Customer Interaction –

Engage with IBM Sales/Presales when required and provide subject matter expertise/demo’s and participates in sessions with Executive briefing with the customer. This involves briefing and discussion at Executive level. Along with key responsibility of implementing product on-site at customer place coordinating with customer/customers-vendors/partners.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong understanding of the Data Protection (Back-up & Recovery, BCP – DR, Storage Replication, Database Native Replications, Data Archival & Retention) for application workloads such as MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, SAP, VMware, Hyper – V, azure, AWS Blumix etc.

• Extremely good hands-on experience with Standalone and Clustered UNIX(AIX/Solaris/HPUX/RHEL/etc ..) and windows platform.
• TCL/Shell/Batch/PowerShell/Expect Scripts or similar scripting languages is must. Strong experience in using the conditional statement, loops, list items ,get string & date manipulation etc. Should be able to write scripts to integrate with different technologies using CLI’s /API’s.
• Understand and strong knowledge of any Storage Replication technology with various DR Scenarios.
• Should be able to design/architect and build LLD, HLD , Implementation .

Design document and deployment of end-end data management workflow is must.

• Should have worked on On-premises/Cloud/Hybrid architecture model.
• Knowledge of Virtualization database/storage solutions is a must
• Understanding of cloud architectures.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Application testing experience may be added advantage
• Overall IT Infrastructure understanding is an added advantage
• Cyber (IT) Security related experience is an added advantage
