Your Role and Responsibilities

• As an intern in IBM Security QRadar SIEM team, you will learn the product which has been in the Guardium SIEM Leader for over 8 years and provides a real time view of an organization’s security posture.
• You will help our customers to get more value out of this product and be successful in tackling difficult security challenges.
• You will also develop custom The IBM Security App Exchange ecosystem that helps our customers and partnersto extend the capabilities of IBM Security solutions with a host of ready-to-install apps and add-ons. https://www.ibm.com/security/community/app-exchange
• Use the QRadar Security Forum and answer all the product / security related questions to help boost the confidence of our users, customers and business partners.
• Provide daily support to users of various computer systems including answering questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to return systems to proper operation.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Install and maintain virtual servers, software, to replicate customer reported issues, and install security patches and updates when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, reported issues, and completed solutions.
• Increase personal technical knowledge by reading trade publications, operating manuals, and diagnostics information.
• Develop training technical notes and troubleshooting procedures to help customer’s support personnel interact properly with software.
• Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Coding skills in Java or Python
• Basics of Database
• Basics knowledge of OS and Networks
• Machine Leaning knowledge

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of Security Standards
• Possible some projects done on Security / AI / Data science
