Work you’ll do

• Responsible for the successful delivery of the SAP TM module related deliverables in SAP and S4 HANA implementation, support and upgrade projects to meet engagement objectives and budget

• Lead design workshops with the client and responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, gap analysis, writing function specification, configuration, testing and cutover activities for both standalone SAP system and embedded SAP TM in S4 HANA

• Integration SAP TM system with other modules of SAP/S4 HANA ( like EWM , SD, MM etc ) and 3rd Party system

• Provide functional and business process expertise to the project team, resolve TM related client’s issues and mentor junior team members

• Handle various industry specific complex TM scenarios like shipper, LSP and carriers

• Work with sales team, write proposals, define SAP TM scope and effort estimation for the new opportunities and present SAP TM capability to the potential client

• Knowledge and experience in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support.

• Experience in working with teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 12+ years of SAP experience in SAP and 4+ years of experience in SAP Transportation Management

• At least 2 full life-cycle SAP Transportation Management implementation project in a hands-on roll

• Must have experience in configuring and implementing VSR optimiser, charge management, freight order management, order management, incompletion, carrier portal, PPF, integration with SAP EWM, WM, EM and other 3P systems in both standalone and embedded TM in S4 HANA

• Must have experience in implementing embedded SAP TM in S4 HANA

• Must have experience in SAP TM 9.5 version

• Understanding of import & export requirements, knowledge of transportation requirements in a global enterprise involving continuous cross border shipments using all modes of transport such as air, sea, road and railways.

• Knowledge of integration involving Transportation Management with external service provider systems using EDI, XI/PI technology for tracking and monitoring of shipments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8 Plus years of experience SAP and 4 plus years of experience in implementation, support and upgrade projects in SAP TM. Must have good functional and business knowledge, worked in enhancement, integration, testing and application support in S4 HANA embedded TM and SAP TM 9.5 version

• Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals and objectives, project status and deliverables with senior executives

• Ability to do the configuration, design TM solution based on complex requirements

• Must have good knowledge in Agile methodology

• Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret business requirements and translate them into system specifications.

• Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• SAP Certification would be added advantage
