Introduction

As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• You will be supporting Solution’s end to end for proposals and project delivery.

• You will provide Technical Solution architecture throughout project lifecycle (Business development, Presale, Scoping, Design, Development, Ongoing operations).

• Provide functional and business process expertise and participate in design activities and a gap analysis prior to the implementation

• Responsible for successful delivery of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module implementations in client engagement

• Assist clients in the selection, implementation, and support of SAP solutions, including design, configuration, and testing.

• Identify appropriate services and align all solutions with business and IT solution owners

• Lead client workshops , assessment of AS-IS , understand requirements in detail to be able to build an optimum solution

• Customize and configure SAP WM/EWM different functionality

• Support project organization for integration and user acceptance test together with the client teams from business

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 6 Plus years of SAP Functional Experience in Procure to Pay area / Warehousing Area of which 4 plus years in EWM

• Detailed SAP skill requirements

• Configuration of Enterprise structure by defining plants, storage locations, warehouse structure , storage types, storage sections, bins, strategy , warehouse order creation rules , resource management etc.

• Participated in the creation of functional specifications for new requirements

• Extensive post implementation support knowledge.

• Efficient skills to resolve the user problems post go-live. Strong post implementation user training capabilities. Able to prepare User Application Manuals and reference documentation.

• Expertise in handling different types of purchase orders including standard, consignment, third party, and stock transport orders.
