Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Billing Auditor, you will be working on the Employee Transport SaaS application (Commute@IBM) for Billing related data as per Service Level Agreement (SLA) with business which include contract management, supplier management ensuring closures. This role requires liasoning with other support functions like Procurement, HR, Legal and Security.

You will be working on the evaluation, preparation and ratification of data relating to the Transport billing using a hybrid combination of Excel spreadsheets and technologies deployed for the IBM Employee Transport team.

• Support the Leadership in execution of Employee Transport policy in line with Country and Worldwide (WW) direction to ensure effective delivery of services and meet future requirements.
• Manage day-to-day Employee Transport Billing Operations at a functional level.
• Act as a back-up for the Employee Transport Billing Manager for managing Billing operations
• Client focus, managing and exceeding expectations by continuously enhancing service levels.
• Contribute to refining processes, formulation of standard operating procedures and carry out periodic assessment, review and propose improvements.
• Support with inputs for budgeting and forecasting, expense management and financial due diligence for sites managed.
• Ensure commercial effectiveness by optimizing resources, reducing wastage, cost avoidance and ensuring correct billings
• Should maintain data integrity and accountability by ensuring accuracy, consistency and identify and solve all billing related issues on web-based tool.
• Record & maintain the files and other artefact for future reference and audits on applicable solution provided by the organization.
• Ability to Host meetings, actively co-ordinate with good communication skills for follow ups with the internal and external teams for effective billing closure.
• Prepare and circulate all necessary billing reports, as required for reporting to leadership.
• Should possess excellent Excel skills as this would be the most important skill for the role.
• Perform random sampling of contract deliverables to ensure all requirements are being met by the supplier.
• Validations are not only restricted to identification of any trends that require further research but also opportunities for data analytics and/or automation.
• Identify and bring forward opportunities to automate processes and/or utilize data analytics to monitor accuracy.
• Ability to integrate, analyze and represent Billing related data using Excel slicers and Watson dashboards.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Candidates with 5+ years of professional experience are preferred
• Min. 3yrs Degree (Any stream)
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines, follow-up to ensure tasks are thoroughly completed and can be counted on to meet commitments.
• Excllent Excel skills.
• Efficiently handle multiple tasks & priorities with a strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to understand relevant laws, rules and regulations relating to the Transport Department.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility in schedule as needed to supported business demands such as month end/Quarter-End close
• Ability to prioritise and stay organised in a fast paced work environment
• Team player comfortable working cross functionally both with In and Out of the department
