Overall objective is to grow sales, increase market share and sustain long-term profitability. Contribute to and gain agreement on national BUSINESS sales budgets, profitability goals and other key performance indicators (KPI) and goals that reflect the global and local IKEA business priorities

The business comprises of large project sales (products + services) across both B2C customers as well as B2B enterprises. The purpose of the function is to develop sales in an efficient and effective way in all media in order to attract more customers (both B2C and B2B) to IKEA more often and to buy more. We do this by optimizing our sales priorities, commercial activities and leads generation opportunities. Our main responsibilities are identifying customer needs, inspiring them with IKEA products and solutions, developing and executing sales steering, selling the IKEA way, range management and pricing. This ensures an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience, which leads to increased sales and sustained long-term profitability.

The purpose of the job is to acquire new customer accounts (B2C and B2C) and engage with existing key accounts for continued and expanded share of business with them. To proactively seek and develop key accounts and contract sales that extend beyond physical store PMA’s and/or overlap multiple PMA’s and regions removing barriers in an efficient and effective way in all media in order to attract more business customer to purchase from IKEA. The goal is to establish IKEA as the first destination for furnishing businesses in my national market
