Job Description :

Supercomputing Education Research Center is looking to hire 2-3 Project Trainees to help in management of its High Performance Computing (HPC) facility in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.

The details of the position and necessary qualification required is as follows :

Description of the job :

– The candidate will be hired to undergo in person, on-job training in management of the HPC facility at SERC. The candidate if selected will be required to be present in person in SERC to undergo this training.

– The training will be for a period of six months with a consolidated salary of Rs. 25000/- month.

– On successful completion of the training period the candidates will be enabled to apply for Project Associate positions in the category of System Engineers through a centralized evaluation process for further extension.

Qualification :

– Must have a first class, aggregate of 65% or above, in Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Master of Computer Applications.

– Fresh graduates can apply.

– Exposure to Linux operating system is desirable, not mandatory.

Other details :

– Candidates must be willing to join immediately; people already living in Bangalore maybe given preference.

Contract length: 24 months
