Infoblox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SDET) to join our SaaS Quality Engineering team in Bangalore, India. O ur architecture is a container-based microservices architecture using the latest technological advances.
You will be a part of an Agile Quality Engineering team validating service-affecting functionality to ensure customer uptime. Responsibilities:

• Define test strategy for new product features

• Write detailed test plans for assigned features to include manual and automated tests

• Execute test plan and report on progress against plan

• Participate in requirements, design, test strategy, test plan, and test automation reviews

• Automate test cases using Python/Perl/Shell

• Work with the Development team and proactively escalate any critical functionality issue

• Setup On-prem hardware, run performance tests, and review results

• Track and lead the team to deliver the product on Scheduled time

• Attend regular scrum, prioritize and plan QA testing

• Constantly looking out for opportunities to modernize the test automation framework in order to support effective continuous deployment

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in leading testing and releasing complex software products

• Experience in leading testing effort on medium to large projects

• Experience in Networking, DNS/DHCP protocols

• Experience with SaaS, Docker/Containers, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GIT

• Experience with testing applications in microservices architecture using concepts like Agile Test Pyramid

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, S3, etc.) is a plus

• System administration in Linux or MS environments

• Troubleshoot network/system/application issues

• Practical experience in the development of automation and harness design (UI, System, API)

• Highly proficient in scripting languages (Python)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be an excellent team-player

• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to stretch and achieve aggressive milestones

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in CS, CE, or EE is preferred
