Job & Division Summary:

Haskel’s Hydrogen team are looking to recruit a Hydrogen Electrical Design Engineer to support its exciting growing business unit. Your main responsibility will be for the design of control solutions associated to the gas, hydraulic and process systems including other manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, logical thinker who enjoys working with different systems in combination with computers. The Electrical Design Engineer position is a full-time permanent role but experience a moderate amount of travel and activity in the workplace, such as supervising the installation of their Design and systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills are very important, as the role will involve interaction with multidiscipline teams. Fault finding skills and familiarity with general commissioning activities are advantageous to this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design Electrical Schematics, Preferably in EPLAN (Other considered)

• Produce layout drawings of the given plan, components and devices.

• Generate component specification and verification in accordance with operating environment

• Examine existing drawings and double-check them for reliability and manufacturability

• Updating Engineering drawings to ensure as built data is captured or to include changes and/or enhancements with the ability to modify bill of materials

• Support project specific Safety documentation to relevant standard requirements; IEC61508, EN ISO 13849

• Prepare documentation for the system’s intended use as well as any safety related instructions (FDS, system power requirements, IS circuit calculations)

Key Competencies:

• Must have an appropriated engineering related degree

• Min. 3 years’ experience for mechanical design engineering

• Be proficient in the use of E-PLAN or equivalent software packages

• Experience in the execution of detailed DFMEA and the use of problem solving tolls (5 why, fish bone, 8D etc.)

• Project management awareness

• Available to travel to the UK for a duration between 1 & 6 months for training if so requested
